Product description

This pendant has two gorgeously paired fossils with a hint of turquoise. This is a stunning, bold piece. The amber is translucent like light shining through dark honey. Below, swinging freely is a large piece of fossilized mammoth ivory dating 10,000 to 100,000 years old adorned with a center turquoise stone. The holes are inspired by ancient fire starters that were once made from ivory. Each of Edward Lawrence's pieces are one of a kind, signed, and numbered.

“I get my ideas from the materials. Form follows function has always been a part of my technique. The whole concept is to transform the materials into something you can relate to and wear. They become a part of your life. The designs can be ethnic to modern, funky to architectural. The pieces design themselves.”
