This is a solid Alaskan Woolly Mammoth tusk restored by Eddie Lee. Woolly Mammoth tusks are conservatively dated to be at least 10,000 years old based on the Woolly Mammoth's extinction. When tusks are found, they are unearthed from massive amounts of pressure. It takes years for the tusks to dry, which then allows for the restoration process to begin. This tusk sits on a intricate teak base creating wonderful contrast between the tusk's sleek shape and the organic structure of the base.
