Hungry Bear by Eddie Lee - Selenite and Buffalo HornDimensions (L (nose to tail) x W x H in inches):14 X 7 X 9
Selena is a hefty bear, but she could use more fatty salmon for the winter! She has been waiting for the right opportunity to snag a salmon from the river and she has succeeded. She is one for sharing! Selenite stone is translucent and looks great under and over lit refracting light through its different densities! She'll illuminate under a light pedestal. Selenite is a soft mineral, but it takes 3 times longer to carve compared to soapstone or marble due to its brittle nature. Eddie has honed his carving technique over the years to be able to work in Selenite. This is one of his signature materials.
Sculptures are hand carved by Eddie Lee in his Pacific Northwest studio. Every carving is one of a kind, individually carved. The sculpture you see pictured is the exact one you will receive.
