Product description

Eddie captures the movement of the spawning salmon so well using the buffalo horn's natural curvature. The stone base is a beautiful contrast giving the sculpture a pop of color. This sculpture can be admired from all angles on a coffee table or moved around the house periodically giving a room new energy. You can even light it from underneath to give the fluorite a warm glow. (Light available separately)

Sculptures are hand carved by Eddie Lee in his Pacific Northwest studio. Every carving is one of a kind, individually carved. The sculpture you see pictured is the exact one you will receive. Every fine art piece is hand signed by the artist and includes a certificate of authenticity, which describes the art piece and has a short biography of master sculptor, Eddie Lee.

We were first introduced to Alaska Fine Art and the Lee family back in July 2019. My wife and I were on a Princess Cruise in Alaska and the boat stopped in Ketchikan. We visited many art/jewelry shops both in Ketchikan and two other city stops.
None of them compared to the quality, beauty and detail to the art pieces by the Artist Eddie Lee.
At that time, I purchased a piece “Bears” made from Walrus Tusk.
I am now on the Alaska Fine Art e-mail list. I just purchased my second piece of art from Eddie Lee, “Spawning Salmon”.
This piece is made of Buffalo Horn on a base of selenite and fluorite. It is even more beautiful than the picture in the catalog!
Eddie Lee makes the art and his daughter Kathy handles all other aspects of the business.
Kathy is knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. If you want any art/sculpture from Alaska this is the place.
